How to add column 'day_month_year' to existing data frame in R?
I have a df:
> a
day_month_year S
1 2011-04-01 1
2 2011-04-01 2
3 2011-05-01 3
4 2011-05-01 4
5 2011-06-01 5
6 2011-06-01 6
I would like to add column that will contain day of the month from 1 to 31 for each value in S.
How to do this in R?
I was trying to use apply function:
> apply(df, 1, function(x) {x['day_month_year'] to 3. ac619d1d87
